Year 2 have been on a recent trip to Mars. All the students worked really hard at home, to create fantastic space helmets. We all enjoyed engaging in different role-play activities, and the students went on to write some great stories.
Well done, Year 2 !Filed under Uncategorised | Comment (0)
This week, Year 2 have been introduced to Barnaby Bear. Barnaby Bear is a travelling Bear from England. He will help us to find out more about places in our Geography unit, ‘Passport to the World’.
Not only will Barnaby be a regular member of our Geography lessons he will also go home with one student each weekend. This student will help Barnaby record his weekend activties, in his diary. Enjoy your time with Barnaby and please take photographs or draw pictures to illustrate his adventures.
Barnaby Bear is a free spirit and will go anywhere on a whim, so if perhaps you or someone you know would like his company on a special trip, please do let us know.
We look foward to reading about your adventures!Filed under Uncategorised | Comment (0)
We have had a fantastic start to the year. The students have settled in well to their new classes. We have been doing lots of exciting and fun activities to help us settle back into school.
We have been learning about what it takes to be a good learner. We are looking forward to a fun and productive year ahead. Keep up the good work Year 2!Filed under Uncategorised | Comment (0)
